Due to the 2017 Kenow Wildfire and lengthy government procedures, we are unable to host camp this summer. We continue to pursue a positive partnership with Parks Canada. Thank you for your ongoing interest and support as we work to rebuild camp and improve our facilities.
Camp Canyon Staff CCC Staff
Canyon Church Camp operates with both paid and volunteer staff positions. The Director, Assistant Director, Head Cook, Assistant Cook, Lifeguard and Custodian are all full time positions and are required to be at camp for the full season. Resource Staff such as the Camp Medic, Camp Mom/Dad, Craft Leader, Nature Leader, and Chaplain are all volunteer positions for a minimum of one week periods. We are always looking for volunteers so please check out our volunteer page.
Canyon Church Camp staff will learn and practice the skills required to create an enjoyable, safe and smooth running youth camp. The staff should have skills in song leadership, campfire planning, worship leadership and safety protocols. Desired skill sets include the following: hiking, orienteering, crafts, sports, rainy day activities, quiet time activities, music, nature knowledge, bible knowledge and appreciation of others’ faith stories. Staff are also required to be physically fit. |
